Welcome to Douglas-Edgemere

  • Three trees with autumn-colored leaves in a park on a sunny day, with a blue sky and scattered clouds overhead.
  • People playing baseball on a field in a park with trees showing fall foliage, some in the distance and some on the right side of the image, under a partly cloudy sky.
  • Two people walking across a crosswalk at an intersection in front of a brick church building with trees that have fall foliage. Traffic signs include a stop sign and a school children crossing sign.
  • Sign for Douglas Park, established circa 1911, maintained by Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department, with a tall streetlamp and trees in the background.
  • Two suburban houses with driveways and parked cars under a blue sky with clouds.

We have a voluntary neighborhood association operating through Douglas-Edgemere-Neighbors Corporation (incorporated in 1982).  We focus on social events, beautification and crime prevention, which are organized by the board of directors, officers, block captains, and other volunteers.  Our annual membership drive collects voluntary dues for membership to the association, whose proceeds pay for social events and beautification projects.  We have also written and received multiple grants for Douglas Park beautification and plan more in the near future.  If you'd like to help, please let us know!
